Sources of Information - Preparing for the Interview
May 15th, 2008
Unless you have some close ties in the specific department or work group in which you would be employed . it is next to impossible to get as much advance knowledge as you would like. It might be called intelligence or intelligence gathering on these specific topics. If , on the other hand, you are friendly , or have third party contacts with some of the department members or another good contact in the industry field with a little work it may be possible to get information that will be of greatest use in the interview and as well show that you have research and prepratory skills. This can be more than helpful in preparing for the interview and presenting yourself above and beyond other candidates for the position and an asset to the firm. You will have a much better chance of getting that job and employment.
